Cold aisle cabinets control airflow in the server room to save cooling energy consumption and improve server operating reliability. Data centers consume a significant amount of electricity, and to promote energy conservation and environmental protection, it is recommended that data centers adopt a hot and cold aisle layout for heat dissipation. In practical use, to ensure the efficiency of cold air usage, the cold air aisle is enclosed to form a cold pool, with sliding doors installed on both sides for easy access. The top is transparent to allow light into the cold pool. The top of the cold aisle cabinet system is usually movable and linked to the fire protection system. In the event of a fire alarm, the top window will automatically detach to facilitate heat dissipation and smoke evacuation from the cold aisle system, while also aiding in gas fire extinguishing in the server room.

The cold aisle cabinet's functionality can be expanded. Sensors for temperature, humidity, smoke, infrared, etc., can be installed inside the cold aisle system for real-time monitoring of the internal environment. Additionally, to ensure the safety of the cold aisle system, sliding doors on both sides can be equipped with fingerprint locks, password locks, etc., according to user requirements.

The top skylight has three types available: fixed skylight, operable skylight, and functional skylight. When the operable skylight is opened, the net height of the cold aisle is greater than or equal to 2 meters, which does not affect daily maintenance work.

The cold aisle is designed as a modular unit, with each unit capable of independent installation and connection to adjacent units, offering strong interchangeability and flexible assembly. The frame is connected to the horizontal support of the cabinet, which not only reinforces the aisle itself but also facilitates expansion.

A pair of automatic sliding doors is set at the front of the aisle, and a set of sliding doors is set at the rear, providing good sealing effects and effectively preventing hot air from entering the equipment.

The design of the cold aisle's active door is in a normally closed state, equipped with an automatic closing device. The closing device is concealed. The doors are equipped with a buffering sealing device, providing good protection. The push-pull handles are installed in both directions, offering a good tactile feel when opening and closing the doors, with a tight fit between the door and the frame, and a gap of less than 3mm.

The cold aisle's preset ports are linked with the overall fire protection system of the machine room, capable of automatically opening the operable skylight based on fire signals (switch signals) to meet the fire protection needs within the aisle.

All unit components of the cold aisle are made of materials with good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, finely processed, integrally stamped, and formed, ensuring high reliability in contact. The unit's opening life test should be no less than 5000 times, ensuring safety and durability without loosening, and guaranteeing the sealing of airflow output.

The design of the cold aisle's front end integrates a control panel skylight, installed at the top of the cabinet's front through the side panel, with no gap leakage, ensuring the sealing of gases within the cold aisle. At the same time, sensors for smoke detection, temperature, and humidity are reasonably positioned to monitor the temperature and smoke levels inside the aisle.

Each cold aisle is designed for independent environmental monitoring, with real-time detection of temperature and humidity levels inside the aisle. A 7-inch LCD touch display is installed on the outer side of the aisle for observation. It monitors the temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure inside the aisle. (This is an optional accessory; it is not included in the standard configuration.)
